Homemade Pesto Sauce



Any ideas what is the best thing you can make with good organic extra virgin olive oil and basil? Hint: It goes super well with pasta.

Yes, you guessed it right. It is "Pesto Sauce." You only need 5 ingredients and 5 minutes to make this recipe. Like anything you make at home, you will immediately tell the difference between homemade and store-bought pesto as well. It will taste so much fresher, you can really control how runny or thick you really want your sauce to be (hint: add more evoo if you want it runny) and it will be so much more vibrant. The only requirement is to use the best extra virgin olive oil (another hint: OLEAMEA). Now, no need for store-bought pesto anymore.



* 1 cup fresh #basil leaves⁣

* 1/3 cups O L E A M E A Private Select EVOO⁣

* 3 cloves garlic⁣

* 3 tbsp pine nuts⁣

* 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan (if desired)⁣


1. In a food processor, blend together basil leaves, pine nuts and garlic (add parmesan cheese if desired). While the processor running, add O L E A M E A EVOO slowly and blend until smooth.⁣
*Season with salt and pepper, to taste.⁣
